Everything You Need to Know About Your Needlepoint Pillow
Is the velvet backing on Furbish needlepoint pillows prone to color bleeding?
No — the cotton velvet backing on every Furbish pillow is colorfast, so spot cleaning won't cause any bleeding or fading. Each design is precision machine-embroidered, which keeps the detail sharp and consistent pillow to pillow.
What size are Furbish needlepoint pillows compared to a typical throw pillow?
Most lumbars run 9x15", with a few at 10x14", and our square pillows are typically 11x11" (with a few at 10x10") — sized to layer easily into your existing holiday setup. Cover and insert both come in the box, just packed separately!
Why are Furbish needlepoint pillows so popular as gifts right now?
Furbish pillows are stocked at Anthropologie, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, and Revolve — and they're popular for a simple reason: they get an actual laugh out loud when opened, and still look great on the couch long after the wrapping paper's gone.
Can I find a Furbish needlepoint pillow for any personality?
With 100+ sayings across humor, hobbies, and inside-joke energy, there's a Furbish pillow for almost anyone — the wine lover, the golfer, the dog mom, the person who peaked in 2005.
Can I bundle different Furbish needlepoint pillow sayings together as a holiday gift?
Absolutely — mix and match across Furbish's 100+ sayings to build a set for anyone on your list, and with Buy 2, Get 1 Free, bundling is basically the whole point.
